About the Role

We are looking for a solid Java Backend Engineer who enjoys building scalable, reliable systems and wants to work on real product challenges, not just support tasks. If clean architecture, performance, and ownership matter to you, this role will suit you well.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Work with cloud-native applications on AWS
• Optimize data storage and caching using MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 35 years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Practical exposure to Microservices Architecture
• Experience with REST APIs
• Working knowledge of AWS services
• Experience with MySQL
• Familiarity with DynamoDB and Redis caching
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have

• Insurance domain experience (added advantage, not mandatory)
• Experience working in a product-based environment
• Understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and system design

• This is a Work From Office role based in Gurgaon
