Java Python Engineer

Your Role

As a Senior Engineer specializing in post-silicon validation and manufacturing test infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and implementing robust test frameworks that ensure product quality at scale. You will lead technical execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements across software, firmware, and hardware validation workflows.

In this role, you will:

Define, architect, and develop post-silicon factory test infrastructure and validation platforms.

Lead technical execution by guiding junior engineers, ensuring requirements, interfaces, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined.

Break down complex engineering efforts into actionable, well-scoped tasks that junior and mid-level engineers can execute independently.

Develop and implement comprehensive debug strategies to resolve complex system-level, manufacturing, and hardwaresoftware interaction issues.

Conduct high-quality design and code reviews to uphold standards of reliability, maintainability, and performance.

Collaborate closely with AMD cross-functional teams and Contract Manufacturing partners to drive infrastructure development, deployment, and optimization.

Lead the resolution of novel, high-impact engineering problems, recommending enhancements to tools, methodologies, and processes.

Work within agile development environments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Utilize CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions to maintain efficient, high-integrity development workflows.

Your Profile

810 years of experience developing software solutions using Java and Python, with strong expertise in test automation.

Extensive background in designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing test frameworks and validation platforms.

Minimum 8 years of platform validation experience spanning software, firmware, and system-level interactions.

Proven track record as a senior technical contributor or technical lead on multi-engineer projects.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills across hardwaresoftware boundaries.

Experience providing technical mentorship, guidance, and code reviews for junior and mid-level engineers.

Hands-on proficiency with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

Effective in agile environments, driving clarity, technical excellence, and collaboration.

Ability to independently tackle complex, non-recurring challenges and propose meaningful, scalable improvements.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
