Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a Lead Java Fullstack Developer (812 yrs) with strong expertise in Java (8+), Spring, Hibernate, and Microservices with React or Angular. Must have solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, clean coding, and design patterns. Experience with databases, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices is essential.
Job Requirements
Professional software development experience with strong expertise in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.
Proven experience designing and scaling microservices-based architectures.
Experience with Frontend technologies like React or Angular.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of system design principlesscalability, reliability, resilience, and observability.
Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.
Experience with event-driven systems and messaging tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
Hands-on experience using AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, CodeWhisperer, etc.) to significantly enhance productivity, code quality, and delivery speed (5 efficiency gains).
Understanding of AI-assisted software development workflows, including code generation, refactoring, test case creation, documentation, and debugging.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, and influence technical decisions across stakeholders.
Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives to raise engineering standards.
Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade systems using Java, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
Collaborate with clients, product managers, and development teams to translate business challenges into robust technical solutions.
Drive system architecture discussions focusing on scalability, performance, security, and resilience.
Guide teams on best engineering practices including clean code, TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
Mentor and coach developers to foster a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Leverage AI tools in daily development activities to accelerate coding, design, testing, reviews, and troubleshooting while maintaining high engineering standards.
Guide and mentor teams on effective adoption of AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, consistency, and code quality.
Implement and advocate for modern architectural patterns such as event-driven design, domain-driven design, and cloud-native principles.
Participate in pre-sales and solutioning by providing technical insights, feasibility assessments, and cost estimations.
Continuously improve internal engineering practices and development processes.
Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, helping them make informed technology decisions.
