Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Dev Engineer (Java Full Stack), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Architecting, designing, and developing Java-based backend services with Spring Boot and React.js-based web frontends.
• Building advanced React features, including Class Components, Higher-Order Components (HOCs), Redux-based state management, and dashboards with API integrations.
• Applying HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and CSS frameworks for high-quality front-end UI.
• Translating wireframes and UI designs into clean, maintainable, and functional code.
• Implementing unit testing for both backend (JUnit, Mockito) and frontend (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Ensuring code quality with Lint tools and leveraging GitHub Copilot for efficient development.
• Managing Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for seamless build, test, and deployment cycles.
• Building and deploying microservices, integrating them with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Designing and managing RESTful APIs for seamless integration across modules.
• Implementing Spring Batch jobs for large-scale data processing.
• Developing database schemas, queries, and persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate, optimized for SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Implementing robust exception handling, error logging, and fault tolerance mechanisms.
• Leveraging Spring Boot Actuator for monitoring, health checks, metrics, and application management.
• Ensuring efficient integration of backend services with databases and external systems.
• Driving best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and scalable architecture for reliable applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Staying updated with emerging full-stack technologies, recommending adoption where appropriate.
• Familiarity with modern front-end tools and frameworks such as Node.js, Redux, Webpack, Babel, NPM, and related build processes.
• Applying performance, scalability, and security best practices, including caching, logging, and secure coding.
• Mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level developers in technical implementation, best practices, and problem-solving.
• Participating in Agile/Scrum processes sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 58 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java (Java 17/21), Spring Boot, React.js.
• Excellent knowledge of front-end programming languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Ability to translate wireframes/UI designs into functional, maintainable code.
• Proven experience with Microservices Architecture, API Management, Kafka/Event-driven systems, Spring Boot Actuator.
• Hands-on knowledge of Spring Batch, JPA, Hibernate.
• Strong database skills with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) query optimization, schema design, integration with JPA/Hibernate.
• Unit Testing for both backend and frontend applications.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and build tools: Node.js, Redux, Webpack, Babel, NPM.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, secure coding, logging, and monitoring best practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and mentoring development teams.
