Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead & Senior Developer for our Software Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, Microservices architecture, and Hibernate. This role requires a proactive leader who can facilitate Agile practices, mentor team members, and ensure the successful delivery of high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Act as a servant leader to the development team, removing impediments and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Guide the team in adopting Agile methodologies and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor and coach team members in technical skills, particularly in Java, Microservices, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Java programming language.
• Proficient in Microservices architecture and design.
• Extensive experience with Hibernate and JPA (Java Persistence API).
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of front end technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
• Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI ACP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment.
• Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
