Job Purpose (Checklist)

CGS India is seeking Senior Software engineer a talented and motivated front end Developer to join our team.

Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.

In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.
 

Job Responsibility (Checklist)

The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key deliverables:

• Develop applications using Front end, middleware, and database related technologies.

• Should be hands in developing and implementing best practices and write smart piece of code.

• Coding standard should be followed, and the code should be highly performant.

• Should be able to write unit test cases using any of the frameworks and should be completely automated.

• Should have strong exposure in REST API design and principles and adhere to RAML/Swagger or Open API specification

• Should be able to do impact analysis and document the design of the components.

• Should be able to develop reusable components using proper design patterns as listed by lead/architect so that it is extensible.

• Hands-on experience on Kafka messaging

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop data strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Should understand and have operating experience with Agile delivery model

Qualification

• Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in Full Stack with Java, Kafka, React JS technologies

Knowledge and Competencies

• Overall IT experience of 7+ years

• 4+ years of in-depth knowledge in Core Java, Spring DI, Spring MVC, REST, JMS, Hibernate, JDBC, PL/SQL

• 1+ years of experience in Spring boot, React JS

• 2+ years of experience in RESTful Http services design

• 2+ years of experience in Java script, JQuery, Bootstrap, Html 5, CSS3

• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server, Postgre SQL writing stored procedures, performance tuning and identifying deadlocks, transactions, and data locking/blocking scenarios

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders

• Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice

• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations

• Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.

• Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.Should have good understand on how to write Unit test cases.
