Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Contractor) to join our IT GTM / CX Custom Apps teams in Bengaluru. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong focus on execution and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable applications. This role is for a contractor who can quickly integrate, take ownership, and deliver against project goals with minimal ramp-up time.

Your Impact & Deliverables

• Rapid Development and Delivery: Execute on specific project requirements, delivering robust and efficient full stack applications using Java , Spring Boot , and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of assigned modules or features, from design and development to testing and deployment, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
• Problem-Solving and Execution: Apply deep technical expertise to solve complex problems and deliver tangible results, with a strong focus on code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaboration for Results: Work closely with product managers, designers, and internal team members to ensure the delivered solution meets the defined business objectives.
• Leverage AI Dev Tools: Utilize and champion the use of AI-powered development tools like Cursor and Windsurf to maximize personal productivity and accelerate the delivery timeline.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Provide clear and concise documentation for all code and features, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer to internal teams upon project completion.

Your Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on full stack engineering, specifically in a delivery-focused environment.
• Proven expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with specific experience in modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment where execution is paramount.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools like Cursor , Windsurf , GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• A portfolio or demonstrable history of successfully completed projects and contracts.
