About Role/Project:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications built on modular, OSGi-based architectures. This role involves building secure, scalable backend services used in regulated healthcare environments, working closely with Microsoft-aligned platforms and practices.

The engineer will work hands-on with Apache Karaf, Apache Camel, Maven, and modern identity standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Microsoft Entra ID, while supporting Windows-based deployments and installer workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Java services using OSGi modular architecture
• Build and manage OSGi bundles using Apache Blueprint
• Implement integration and messaging flows with Apache Camel
• Develop and maintain applications running on Apache Karaf
• Configure and manage Maven build pipelines for multi-module projects
• Package applications for Windows-based Java runtime environments
• Support NSIS-based installers for installation, upgrades, and rollback
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Entra ID for secure identity and access management
• Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, and client teams in enterprise healthcare programs

Required Qualifications:

• 36 years of professional Java development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development
• Practical experience with OSGi-based systems (Apache Karaf preferred)
• Experience building secure, identity-integrated applications
• Familiarity with enterprise deployment and upgrade processes
• Ability to work in large-scale, distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code exposure: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates
• Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated domains
