About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in backend development to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using Java and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot
• Work with Gradle/Maven for build automation and Kafka for event-driven messaging
• Implement JPA/Hibernate for database interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Apply TDD/BDD practices to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Design and implement solutions using microservices architecture
• Develop and optimize applications leveraging Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives
• Write well-structured, reusable, and secure code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
