Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java SE (preferably Java 17) and Java-based Middleware Services (MSB) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java SE (preferably Java 17) .
• Build and integrate Java Middleware Services (MSB) to support enterprise-level applications.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker .
• Manage source code, branching, and version control using BitBucket .
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build and deployment.
• Design, develop, and optimize database objects and queries using Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server .
• Deploy and manage applications on at least one application server such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss .
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance and production issues.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java SE (Java 17 preferred) .
• Hands-on experience with Java MSB / Middleware Services .
• Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
• Experience with BitBucket for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server .
• Experience with at least one application server: WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss .
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
