Your Team Responsibilities

1. Develop New Offerings under the S&C On-demand API Suite of applications.
2. Design and develop scalable solution incorporting GenAI as and when applicable.
3. Engage with Product, TPM & SRE for the daily functioning of the applications.
4. Actively develop new modules and functionalies for the projects in alignment with the team lead.
5. Actively participate in code reviews and finds ways to improve the performance of the applicaitons.
6. Develop Integration, Acceptance, Unit tests and maintain the code quality as per MSCI standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain the ESG API applications product life cycle and support it.
2. Actively develop new modules and functionalies for the projects in alignment with the team lead.
3. Actively participate in code reviews and finds ways to improve the performance of the applicaitons.
4. Fix the vulnerabilities and keep the applications free from securities and vulnerablities.
5. Develop Unit tests and maintain the code quality as per MSCI standards.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with 5–10 years of experience in Java and/or Python programming, with a strong foundation in both Relational and NoSQL databases.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and improve productivity
• Hands-on experience in processing large volumes of data efficiently
• Expertise in low-latency programming, with a focus on performance optimization
• Strong understanding and practical experience with multithreading in Java or Python
• Solid experience working with cloud platforms, specifically Azure or GCP
• Ability to contribute to the DevOps lifecycle, including productionizing solutions and managing deployments
