Position: Java Developer

Location: Bangalore & Chennai (Local Only) (Contract)

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications.

Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external/internal services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.

Debug and resolve technical issues across environments.

Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, and propose technical improvements.

Work with CI/CD pipelines for builds, deployments, and automation.

Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Multithreading, Collections, Exception Handling.

Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).

Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices architecture.

Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, including writing SQL queries.

Experience with Hibernate/JPA ORM frameworks.

Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, and build automation tools.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

Knowledge of unit testing tools like JUnit, Mockito.

Nice to Have

Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Familiarity with Kafka / RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.

Understanding of UI frameworks such as Angular or React (basic is fine).
