Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The position operates during day shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
  • Design and implement robust and scalable applications leveraging AWS cloud services.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and manage MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and applications.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Possess a strong understanding of AWS services and their application in software development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC for backend development.
  • Show expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for MySQL databases.
  • Have experience with JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Display excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
