Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.

Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes for orchestration, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability.

Utilize Apache Kafka for building robust data pipelines, real-time data streaming, and event-driven architectures. This includes developing and optimizing Kafka producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams applications.

Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, data processing, or integration with other systems as needed.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated testing, deployment, and release management of applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration of components.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.

Monitor application performance and proactively identify and address bottlenecks.

Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making for system design and evolution.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and/or Spring Cloud.

Proficiency in Apache Kafka for messaging and stream processing, including experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or ksqlDB.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing deployments.

Experience with Docker for containerization.

Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or data manipulation.

Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.

Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
