POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT team is seeking a web Java Developer with experience in Struts and Spring Boot Frameworks to support ongoing

application development, modernization efforts, and enterprise system enhancements. This role works closely with team

members across Global IT and business units to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, enhance, and maintain web Java applications.

Support modernization of legacy Struts applications.

Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality releases.

Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments.

Maintain documentation and follow established coding standards.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills

8+ years of experience

Strong web Java development experience (Java 7+).

Strong experience with Struts 1.0+ and Spring Boot frameworks.

Experience with JavaScript front-end development.

Experience in maintaining web Java applications on Apache Tomcat servers.

Familiar with Eclipse IDE.

Strong knowledge of SQL Language.

Working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle database and Oracle Packages.

Experience working with GitHub and other similar version control environments.

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

Strong communication skills.

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).

Preferred Skills

Experience migrating applications from Struts to Spring Boot.

Knowledge of Thymeleaf but not required.
