Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals in Java, microservices, and cloud-based architectures, and can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Core Skills Required

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns
• Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Solid experience with Maven / Gradle and Git
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments
• Good understanding of authentication & authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
• Strong knowledge of RDS databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience working with AWS services, including:
• EC2, S3, Lambda
• RDS, CloudWatch
• Step Functions, EKS
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Ability to design and implement backend application architecture

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, ClickHouse, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations or calling AI APIs
