About the Role

Our client is seekinga skilledJava Developer with Spring Boot experienceto join their engineering team inAhmedabad. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and RESTful services that power modern web platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inCore Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with experience working with relational databases and collaborating in cross-functional development teams. This role requires a proactive developer who can contribute to building high-performance backend systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintainscalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and integrateRESTful APIswith frontend applications
• Writeclean, structured, and reusable codefollowing best coding practices
• Work withdatabases such as MySQL or PostgreSQLand ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolveapplication and performance issues
• Participate incode reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate withfrontend developers, QA teams, and product managers
• Contribute tocontinuous improvement and system optimization

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experiencein backend development
• Strong expertise inCore Java and Spring Boot
• Good understanding ofOOP concepts and Design Patterns
• Experience buildingREST APIs & Microservices Architecture
• Strong knowledge ofSQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Experience withGit or version control systems
• Understanding ofSpring Security, JWT, or authentication mechanisms
• Hands-on experience withApache Kafka
• Strongproblem-solving and debugging skills
• FluentEnglish communication skills
• Must becurrently based in Ahmedabad
• Willing to workWork From Office (WFO)
