Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 35 years of experience in API development and integration to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based backend development, REST/SOAP web services, and API integrations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and ensuring seamless integration between internal and external systems.

The candidate should also demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new technologies and transition into different development tech stacks as required by project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external systems.
• Build scalable and efficient web services to support business applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve code quality.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments.
• Continuously learn new technologies and adapt to different development tech stacks based on business or project requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java and backend development.
• Hands-on experience in API Development & Integration (REST/SOAP).
• Experience building and consuming Web Services.
• Familiarity with Apache technologies and related frameworks.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, and API integration standards.
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience using version control tools such as Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and transition into other development technologies or frameworks when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
