Careers that Change LivesThe Global Operations and Supply Chain Value stream is accountable for the plan, build and run activities for all applications from the Global Operations and Supply Chain stakeholders. The Global IT Plan and Deliver team is part of the Global Operations and Supply Chain value stream and is accountable for the SCM planning, Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods and Trade Compliance systems.
We are seeking a senior-level experienced Senior IT Technical Analyst to join our team with a primary focus on design and configuration of our Global Available-To-Promise (GATP) processes.
The secondary focus is on design and configuration of SCM processes in SAP ECC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP configuration and writing design specifications for development and integrations and has experience with communicating with business and IT stakeholders on project status on a global level.
A Day in the Life
- Consulting with business stakeholders and the process lead to understand and evaluate current business processes and turning those into system requirements.
- Writing system functional specifications and support development teams during implementation phase with testing and quality documentation.
- Deploy new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
- Configure system settings, plan, and execute unit, system and integration tests and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems enhancements for APO GATP and SAP ECC SCM. Having experience with S4 HANA AATP is a plus.
- Stay current with industry trends on supply chain management and assess their potential impact on the company's IT and business processes.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 4+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Technical Analyst, SAP consultant or SAP implementation project member with a preferred focus on SCM modules and mainly product allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and terminology related to SCM.
- Understanding of IT change processes and/or SAP solution delivery processes.
- General understanding of supply chain and product allocation processes.
- Excellent communication in English as well as collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with full cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Some level of travel may be required to support project requirements
- Some out of hours work will be required, including attending virtual meetings in different time zones
Nice to Haves
- SAP Certifications on APO GATP and /or SAP ECC MRP
- Experience with SAP S4HANA implementations
- Experience with Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods and Trade Compliance systems
- Experience with global SAP implementation projects.
- Experience with the Medical Technology sector preferred.
