IT Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to manage and support our organizations IT infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of all IT systems, networks, and devices across the office.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in network administration, user management, IT asset tracking, troubleshooting, and security implementation.

1. Network Administration & Security

• Configure and maintain office network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Administer Cisco switches, Aruba access points, and FortiGate firewall environments
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Implement and maintain network security measures and protocols

2. IT Support & End-User Assistance

• Provide daily technical support for hardware, software, and system issues
• Support Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Windows environments
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding IT setup

3. Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets
• Track device allocation, maintenance schedules, and lifecycle management
• Procure, install, and configure IT equipment as required

4. User & Access Management

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Configure and deactivate IT resources for onboarding/offboarding

• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or IT Support Specialist
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook
• Hands-on experience with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN)
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba wireless infrastructure, and FortiGate firewall
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA
• 35 years of relevant IT administration experience
