IT Infrastructure & Vendor Management Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardware and Networking professional to oversee and manage

our enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including complex network architecture, IT assets, servers,

and end-to-end vendor management. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, optimize

IT investments, and manage vendor relationships from procurement to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure & Network Management

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN, firewalls,

switches, routers, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Manage on-premises and cloud server infrastructure.

Oversee IT asset lifecycle management (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement).

Ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems.

Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

2. IT Procurement & Vendor Management

Identify and evaluate new IT requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

Source, shortlist, and onboard vendors for hardware, software, and services.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs, and AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contracts).

Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) for procurement approvals.

Track vendor payments and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

3. Project & Operational Management

Lead onsite installation, configuration, and integration of vendor-supplied systems.

Act as the primary point of contact for vendors during implementation and maintenance.

Manage IT projects from requirement to rollout, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

Collaborate with internal IT support and applications teams for seamless operations.

Maintain documentation for network diagrams, asset inventory, and vendor agreements.

4. Maintenance & Support

Monitor system performance and address faults/escalations with vendors.

Oversee AMC utilization and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.

Conduct regular audits of IT infrastructure and vendor performance.


Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, PMP, or ITIL are preferred.

Experience: 812 years in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, and vendor

relations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in network design, server administration (Windows/Linux), firewall

management, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

Vendor Management: Proven experience in sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and

payment coordination.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, project management, and problem-solving
