We are currently recruiting IT Infrastructure Engineers/Technical Support Specialist who can communicate with Japanese clients in Japanese for a Japan-based IT infrastructure company.


Position Overview


Employment Type: Contract-based (initially)

Work Location: Japan, Tokyo (relocation required)

Future Opportunity: Fast-track full-time conversion based on performance


Responsibilities


  • Operation and maintenance of Windows servers
  • Basic network support (IP / TCP-IP, etc.)
  • PC support (e.g. Windows 11 migration and replacement)
  • Phone and email communication with Japanese clients (in Japanese)


In addition to technical skills, strong communication skills and the ability to explain issues clearly are essential.


Required Qualifications


Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N2-N1 equivalent

(able to handle business conversations and client communication)


  • Practical experience in IT infrastructure
  • Windows servers / networks / PC support
  • Strong motivation to work in a Japanese company
  • High communication skills and strong logical understanding


Preferred Qualifications


Experience working with Japanese companies

Customer support or client-facing experience

IT Technical support / help desk experience
