IT Infrastructure Lead

The IT Application Associate Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and optimization of our critical business applications. This role ensures the reliable performance, security, and scalability of applications that support key business processes. The Application Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, Procurement, and Requestors to align application strategy with business goals. This includes maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly Intranet Applications, Uptime, Communications, Change Management, Login, Upgrade, Audit and Security.  Will also manage end-user support related to application access, renewals, licenses, procurement, clearance, and data security. 

• Manage the lifecycle of assigned applications, from implementation and upgrades to maintenance and retirement.

• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of applications.

• Oversee application monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

• Manage and coordinate application patches, upgrades, and enhancements.

• Manage vendor relationships for application support and licensing.

• Develop and maintain application documentation, including configuration, processes, and procedures.

• Provide technical support and guidance to application users.

• Manage application access and security controls.

• Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans for applications

• Strong understanding of application architecture, design, and development principles.

• Proficiency in [Specific operating systems - e.g., Windows Server, Linux].

• Knowledge of database management systems.

• Familiarity with IT security principles and practices.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Experience with the ITIL framework is a plus.

• Coordinate with other  teams, such as infrastructure, security, and development, on project-related tasks

• Identify opportunities to improve application efficiency, functionality, and user experience.

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Certification – MCSE, SSO, AWS/GCP Architect

• Communication Skills – collaborate to strategize, plan, and deploy with both higher-ups and lower-down in the hierarchy for effective execution

• Multi-tasker, well organized and thrives in fast-paced, high-stress scenarios

*You’ll bring to Ather:

- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Hosting & Supporting Applications.

- Graduate in Computer Science with certifications in AWS/Hyper-V/VMWare/Storage & Networking.
