Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced IT Disaster Recovery Analyst to help ensure the resilience and continuity of our critical services and applications. This role is part of the IT DR Coordination team and plays a vital part in ensuring that our disaster recovery strategies are well-planned, effectively implemented, and continuously improved.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work closely with technical teams across the organization to ensure that disaster recovery plans are not only in place but also regularly tested and aligned with our internal standards and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating recovery efforts, documenting outcomes, and supporting risk mitigation initiatives that contribute to the overall stability of our IT environment.

Tech Profile/Essential Skills

- 3+ years relevant technology domain experience in ITDR, IT Operations, Application Management

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM degree

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications, and their interdependencies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Demonstrable experience in defining and implementing risk-based standards and or frameworks, processes, and procedures for preparing and responding to disruptions in business or IT operations.

- Exposure to risk, crisis and audit management.

- Passionate about improving service to internal and external customers.

- Exceptional planning, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

- Proactive and able to stay calm under pressure!

Detailed Responsibilities

- Work with IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle.

- Ensure application DR plans are documented, scheduled and tested.

- Coordinate application tasks for Datacentre DR testing. Ensure application deliveries per DC runbooks are completed by the requested timelines.

- Ensure test results are documented and updated in the relevant tools

- Ensure post-test actions are identified, reviewed, and tracked till closure.

- Provide ongoing feedback for risk management, mitigation, and prevention. For non-compliant areas work with Technology owners to raise risks and track mitigation plans

- Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities

- Act as liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes.

- Ensure compliance with LSEG Group standards for IT Service Continuity Management

- Flexible to work in shifts and weekends.
