IT Business Sr Analyst - C12 - PUNE

The IT Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities:

• End to end accountability for determining solutions for transformation projects
• Key stakeholder management with various internal customers, partners, and internal and external suppliers
• Prepare the required artefacts for Functional Requirements & Design Documents in collaboration with various internal stakeholders and obtain sign off as per project plan and standards
• Explain overall requirements to various Applications Owners and engage in cross review of functional requirements
• Ensure System designs and solutions are prepared as per Citi policies, and procedures and guidelines
• Act as a “translator” between the business, Change Team,  and Operation and Technology
• Work with stakeholders at all levels as defined by the individuals project
• Assist in project integration and acceptance testing
• Provide support during and post implementation

• Knowledge/Experience:

• Relevant experience in analyst position
• Desired - experience in project management OR Custody services
• Ability to work in challenging, demanding environment and deliver within strict timelines
• Strong communication skills, ability to elicit and explain business requirements in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders (supplier, partners, management etc) in various forum
• Ability to build relationships and negotiate solutions while liaising between business, operations, technology
• Experience with working with teams across multiple locations
• High Influential skills
• Flexible with a desire to make an impact
• Self-motivated and a team player that works well with individuals and thrives in a complex, global organization
• 9 Years + experience

• Required Skills:

• Good understanding of Asset Servicing/Corporate Action & income processing knowledge
• Strong business analysis skills and aptitude for problem solving
• Able to work with multiple streams in Business & Technology
• Able to translate business requirements to technical teams
• Able to work in high pressured environment and parallel assignments
• Desirable to have understanding of data analysis; SQL etc
• BSC/BA

• Excellent Business Analysis skills, including process flow and user story creation
• Exposure to various SDLC methodologies
• Planning and personal organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of basis project managements
• Ability to work with in an inclusive and diverse environment
• Familiar with various project management tools (JIRA, SharePoint etc)
• Knowledge of KAFKA is preferred
