IT Asset Management Analyst - Manager

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow IT Business Analyst to support and implement ServiceNow solutions for the Hardware and Software Asset Lifecycle as well as specify, scope, test, and document platform applications. In this role, you will be a member of a geographically distributed team of ServiceNow developers and administrators. This position requires strong technical expertise on the ServiceNow platform and strong knowledge of the baseline ServiceNow module capabilities to ensure the smooth operation and continual enhancement of the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Platform Analysis:

• Identify, model, and document business, process, and data requirements
• Represent project stakeholders throughout planning, development, and release processes
• Work with the Platform Team to ensure understanding of the business and test requirements and to develop release estimates
• Translate the technical solutions to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisions and delivered capabilities

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization within ServiceNow workflows.
• Stay current on ServiceNow product developments, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of analyst experience in professional software development.
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow.

Technical Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, and Service Catalog.
• Proficiency in analysis and capability to identify downstream implications
• Strong requirements gathering and refining experience.

Certifications (Preferred):

• ServiceNow Systems Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Business Process Analyst Badges and Learning.
• ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally.
