Job Profile
Job Purpose
To manage, secure, and maintain the schools IT infrastructure, databases, and digital systems , ensuring smooth academic and administrative operations.
- Database Administration
Maintain complete digital records of:
Teaching & non-teaching staff
Personal details, qualifications, experience
Joining, transfers, promotions & exits
Manage student, staff, academic & examination databases
Ensure data accuracy, integrity & regular backups
Control user access & data security permissions
Generate reports (attendance, marks, results, fee data)
Support marks analysis, result compilation & data migration
2. Data Security & Compliance
Protect data from loss, misuse & cyber threats
Implement password policies & access controls
Ensure compliance with school data protection guidelines
Assist in cyber safety & digital policy implementation
3. Reporting & Support
Prepare management MIS reports
4. Technical Support
Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to minimize downtime.
Monitor and maintain LAN, internet, Wi-Fi, and email systems
5. Install and Configure Software and Hardware
Set up new hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates.
6. Website & Digital Support
Update and maintain the organization's website and digital platforms
Support online portals, learning platforms, and cloud tools
7. Video Conferencing Management
Schedule, organize, and manage video conferencing sessions for all branches
Coordinate with branch heads and staff to fix meeting dates, time slots, and agendas
Set up and test video conferencing tools (Zoom / Google Meet / Microsoft Teams) in advance
Provide technical support during live sessions to ensure smooth communication
Maintain records of meetings, attendance, and follow-ups
8. User Administration
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure appropriate access to resources.
Create, modify, and delete user accounts as needed.
