Role Overview

Corus Infotechis seeking a highly skilledL2 Network Engineer to manage high-density Layer 2 distribution networks. You will be the subject matter expert for loop prevention protocols and multivendor switching fabrics, ensuring 99.9% uptime for our ISP and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Layer 2 Distribution Management: Configure, optimise, and troubleshoot complex distribution layers usingSTP, RSTP, and MSTP to ensure a loop-free topology.
• Multivendor Operations: Manage and maintain a diverse infrastructure includingCisco, Juniper, Nokia, Arista, Huawei, etc., devices.
• Advanced Switching: Implement and manage VLANs, QinQ tagging, Link Aggregation (LACP ), and Layer 2 security protocols.
• MPLS Support (Advantage): Assist in managingMPLS backbones, including LDP, VPLS circuits, and L3VPN configurations.
• Fault Investigation: Perform deep-dive packet analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex L2 network outages.
• NOC Coordination: Support the 24/7 NOC team by resolving escalated tickets and mentoring junior L1 engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in CS, IT, or Electronics Engineering.
• Core Skills: Hands-on expertise inSTP/MSTP/RSTP and multivendor CLI.
• Advantageous Skills: Familiarity withMPLS , BGP, and CGNAT/BNG environments.
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP (Enterprise or Service Provider) or JNCIS/JNCIP is highly preferred.
• Joining: Immediate joiners are preferred.
