IS Test Manager

We are looking for a methodical, pragmatic, and collaborative IS Test Manager to join our IS Strategy & Architecture team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing smart, efficient testing approachesnot only for major transformation projects, but also for smaller enhancements and runphase improvements. You will play a central role in safeguarding the quality of our systems by adapting testing strategy to the real needs of each initiativefinding the right balance between extensive, riskmitigating testing and rapid delivery when appropriate. In addition to test phases, you will also define and drive business monitoring strategy, complementing technical monitoring run by development teams. Key Responsibilities Adaptive Testing Strategy : Design and maintain testing approaches tailored to the size, risk, and urgency of each initiativeranging from large strategic programs to small runphase enhancements. Test Planning & Execution : Build and coordinate test plans covering functional, integration, regression, UAT, and nonfunctional testing, ensuring clear entry/exit criteria. Balance Quality & Speed : Continuously adjust the level of testing to what the context truly requires, balancing quality assurance with operational agility and rapid deployments. UAT Coordination : Support business stakeholders in defining and executing UAT scenarios, acceptance criteria, and signoff procedures. Business Monitoring Strategy : Define and implement a businessfocused monitoring approach (KPIs, functional alerts, userjourney checks) that complements technical monitoring provided by dev/ops teams. Defect & Risk Management : Drive defect triage, monitor resolution progress, and ensure risks are clearly documented and communicated. RunPhase Support & Continuous Improvement : Participate in ongoing improvement cycles by testing small fixes, incremental changes, and enhancements released as part of regular IS run activities. Documentation : Create and maintain documentation such as test scripts, test evidence, defect logs, traceability matrices, and monitoring guidelines. Collaboration & Vendor Alignment : Work closely with internal teams IS team and business teams, and external vendors to ensure testing and monitoring expectations are aligned and executed consistently. Skills and Experience Testing Fundamentals : Good understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, riskbased testing, and UAT best practices. Adaptive & Pragmatic Mindset : Ability to define rightsized testing depending on complexity, risk, and project stageneither overtesting nor undertesting. Monitoring Knowledge : Understanding of functional/business monitoring concepts, user journey KPIs, and how they complement technical monitoring. Communication : Ability to clearly explain testing decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Leadership: supports and drives change in the organisation, mentors and grows a team, collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure success. Tools & Practices : Experience with test management tools, structured documentation, and basic traceability practices. Delivery Experience : 10+ years of experience in QA, test coordination, or test management, ideally in environments mixing large initiatives with frequent smaller releases. Language : English mandatory; French nice to have. Profile : Rigorous, structured, curious, and comfortable navigating between deep technical details and businessoriented discussions.
