Position Overview:

Keus, Indias leading brand in luxury smart home automation, is looking for an IOT Product Team Lead who can build and lead a high-performing electronics team, take end-to-end ownership of electronic product design, and successfully drive products through certification and compliance.

This role requires a strong hands-on electronics background combined with people leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, certifying and handing over the final product for mass manufacturing in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

Own end-to-end electronics product development including architecture, design, testing, and validation

Lead resolution of complex technical challenges, design trade-offs, and field issues

Review schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and test plans to ensure robustness and manufacturability

Guide design decisions related to performance, cost, reliability, and compliance

Team Building & Mentorship

Build and structure the electronics team (roles, responsibilities, skill matrix)

Mentor and coach engineers across experience levels

Establish development processes, design review practices, and documentation standards

Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement

Project & Cross-Functional Leadership

Plan and track deliverables, timelines, and technical risks

Work closely with mechanical, firmware, industrial design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams

Support product management in feasibility analysis and roadmap planning

Certification & Compliance

Own and manage certification activities (e.g. CE, FCC, UL, BIS, IEC, etc.)

Interface directly with test labs and certification bodies

Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and EMC requirements

Drive pre-compliance testing and corrective actions

Qualifications:

BE / B Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Strong experience in electronics product development

6 to 12 years of experience in IoT Product development

Analog & digital circuit design

Power electronics / power supplies

MCU-based systems

EMI/EMC considerations

USB, USB PD, ethernet, POE

Understanding of RF (wifi, zigbee, bluetooth) sub GHz application and considerations in PCB layout and antenna placement

Experience with certification and compliance processes

Understanding of DFMEA, DFM, and DFT

Component engineering from long term availability, sustainability, cost and reliability perspective
