About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IoT Manager (13+ years) to lead IoT development and deployment across all Propel C&S products, including stationary crushers, mobile crushers, screens, and washing systems . This role will work closely with the R&D Electricals team , Product Engineering, Automation, and Service to architect and implement end-to-end IoT solutions that enable smart machine capabilities, remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and enhanced customer uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the IoT roadmap for all C&S equipment including stationary crushers, mobile crushers, screens, and washing systems.
• Architect complete IoT systems covering sensors, controllers, gateways, connectivity modules, and cloud integration.
• Standardize IoT hardware and data models across product lines for uniformity and scalability.
• Select, test, and validate industrial-grade sensors for vibration, temperature, hydraulics, power, and structural monitoring.
• Integrate sensors and telematics modules into both stationary and mobile crusher electrical architectures.
• Oversee firmware development, embedded coding validation, and edge device configuration.
• Ensure reliable connectivity for mobile crushers using CAN, Modbus, MQTT, RS485, GPS, 4G/LTE/5G, and Wi-Fi.
• Lead cloud dashboard development for real-time health monitoring, utilization tracking, alerts, and predictive maintenance.
• Define telemetry KPIs and data structures for monitoring crusher performance, downtime events, and failure patterns.
• Conduct field trials and validation for IoT-enabled stationary and mobile units in quarry and mining environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues related to sensors, connectivity, firmware, and cloud communication.
• Collaborate with R&D Electricals, Product Engineering, Automation, and Service teams for end-to-end IoT implementation.
• Support service teams with remote diagnostics, fault analysis, and IoT-based service workflows.
• Manage IoT vendors, telematics partners, and hardware suppliers for quality, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety, EMC standards, electrical guidelines, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Prepare system documentation, wiring diagrams, validation reports, and integration manuals.
• Lead large-scale deployment of IoT solutions across all crusher platforms and customer sites.
• Drive improvements in machine uptime, operator efficiency, and predictive maintenance capability through IoT data insights.

Preferred Skills

• Strong expertise in IoT architecture, industrial sensors, telematics, and communication protocols.
• Experience with embedded systems, edge computing, and industrial gateways.
• Hands-on experience in heavy equipment, mining machinery, or off-highway mobile equipment.
• Knowledge of cloud IoT platforms (AWS, Azure, ThingsBoard or equivalent).
• Understanding of predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and analytics.
• Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and IoT hardware compliance standards.
