Role Description

You will be the technical lead for our wMBus and LTE gateway infrastructure. This role requires a "maker" mindsetsomeone who can assemble and flash boards at the office and then head to a client site in Noida or Delhi to supervise a complex installation. This is a full-time remote role for an IoT Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Prep: Solder, assemble, and test custom ESP32-based gateways integrated with LTE and RF (wMBus) modules.

Firmware Management: Flash firmware and handle AES decryption keys for secure communication between Kamstrup/ultrasonic meters and our MeterSync platform.

Installation Supervision: Oversee on-site installation in residential societies and commercial buildings, ensuring correct antenna placement for wMbus/LoRaWAN signal strength.

Network Monitoring: Proactively monitor wMBus gateway health and troubleshoot connectivity issues to maintain 99%+ uptime for client billing data.

Qualifications

Technical: Strong hands-on experience with ESP32, soldering, and RF components.

Knowledge: Familiarity with wMBus, MQTT, and LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT protocols.

Experience: 13 years in IoT field operations or hardware assembly (ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics).

Location: Ability to work from our office at Images Tower, Sector 132, Noida.
