Inward Lead

Supervise and coordinate all inward (receiving) operations, including unloading, checking, and put-away of incoming goods.

Ensure proper verification of quantity and quality of received materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.

Assign tasks and monitor performance of receiving staff to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments and update inventory systems accordingly.

Communicate with procurement, suppliers, and transporters to resolve delivery or documentation issues.

Inspect and report damaged or missing items; coordinate returns or replacements as necessary.

Ensure all inbound activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Optimize space utilization and storage efficiency within receiving and put-away areas.

Train and mentor receiving staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
