Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
1. Chemical Inventory & Material Safety
•CRIMS Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all chemicals, including quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates.
• Segregation & Compatibility: Ensure chemicals are stored according to their compatibility groups to prevent hazardous reactions.
• Temperature & Humidity Control: Monitor and maintain storage conditions as per SDS requirements, including temperature and humidity levels.
• Disposal of Unused Chemicals: Regularly audit inventory to identify and safely dispose of expired or unused chemicals in compliance with safety regulations.
2. Material Distribution
• 16-Categories Classification: Implement and manage the distribution of chemicals across 16 safety categories, ensuring proper labeling and handling procedures are followed.
• Logistics Coordination: Oversee the safe and efficient transportation of chemicals within the warehouse and within premises, adhering to all safety requirements.
3. Lean Methodology Implementation
•Implement, govern and imbibe culture of Lean methodology in CRIMS Operations.
4. Compliance, Documentation & PM Support
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all warehouse operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding chemical storage and handling.
• Documentation & PM Support: Maintain up-to-date records of all chemical transactions, support PM with relevant data, interact with all lab stakeholder, safety inspections, and training sessions.
5. Team Leadership & Training
• Staff Supervision: Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Training: Conduct regular training sessions on chemical safety, 6S practices, and emergency response procedures.

Experience : 6-8 Years
Key Competencies (Technical, Functional & Behavioral)

• Strong knowledge of chemical safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to implement and maintain 6S & Lean methodology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
