Role Overview
We are looking for an Investor Outreach Specialist to drive our fundraising execution end-to-
end. This role is operational, relationship-driven, and outcome-oriented.
You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing conversations with VCs, Angels,
Family Offices, and Institutional Investors across India and international markets. Your primary
objective is to create qualified investor meetings, manage follow-ups, gather feedback, and
support successful fundraise closures.
This is not a passive research role. It requires high ownership, structured communication, and
relentless follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Outreach & Engagement
Identify and build targeted investor lists (VCs, Angels, Family Offices, Funds) aligned with
our stage and sector
Initiate outreach via email, LinkedIn, warm intros, and curated databases
Share pitch decks, one-pagers, and fundraising materials professionally
Act as the first point of contact for inbound investor interest
Meeting & Pipeline Management
Schedule intro calls, pitch meetings, and follow-up discussions
Coordinate calendars across founders, investors, and advisors
Maintain a structured CRM of investor conversations, stages, and outcomes
Track pipeline health: contacted replied meeting follow-up decision
Follow-ups & Relationship Nurturing
Execute disciplined follow-ups with investors post-meetings
Collect feedback, objections, and next-step requirements
Re-engage investors at appropriate intervals with updates (traction, milestones, news)
Maintain professional, long-term investor relationships
Feedback & Fundraise Support
Compile investor feedback and insights for founders
Identify recurring objections and narrative gaps
Support data requests, diligence follow-ups, and document sharing
Assist founders during active fundraise cycles and closing phases
International Fundraising Support
Handle outreach across geographies (US, Europe, Middle East, SEA, etc.)
Adapt messaging based on investor geography and fund thesis
Manage time zones and international scheduling efficiently
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory)
Comfort speaking with senior stakeholders (Partners, Principals, Angels)
Prior experience in:
o Startup fundraising
o VC / PE / Angel networks
o Founders office or strategy roles
High attention to detail and follow-up discipline
Ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously
CRM, spreadsheet, and pipeline management proficiency
Professional persistence (polite, consistent, non-spammy follow-ups)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Existing VC / Angel network
Experience working with global investors
Understanding of startup metrics, decks, and fundraising stages
Experience supporting Series Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A rounds
