Role Overview
We are looking to hire a Buy-Side Portfolio Manager / Investment Manager to manage and grow
investments across public equities, private credit, alternative assets, and special situations. The
role is purely buy-side and suited for candidates moving buy-side to buy-side.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor listed equity portfolios with a focus on small-cap and mid-cap companies
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research, financial modelling, and valuation analysis
- Evaluate and execute early-stage investments, IPO opportunities, and special situation strategies
- Assess and manage private credit and structured lending opportunities
- Oversee investments across alternative assets and special situation funds
- Track portfolio performance, risk metrics, and compliance parameters
- Work closely with promoters and senior management on capital allocation decisions
- Prepare investment notes, portfolio reviews, and MIS for internal stakeholders
Desired Profile
- 68 years of relevant buy-side investment experience (family office, PMS, AIF, AMC, PE, credit
- fund, or similar)
- Strong exposure to equity research, portfolio management, and investment execution
- Experience in IPO management / IPO investing is highly preferred
- Understanding of private credit, structured lending, and alternative assets
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and decision-making skills
Qualification : MBA (Finance) or CA
