Position: Investment Manager Listed Equities (Family Office)

Location - Pune

About the Organization:

A well-established Family Office based in Pune with an AUM of approximately 300400 crore. The office follows a long-only investment strategy focused on listed equities, with a strong emphasis on fundamental research and long-term value creation.

Role Overview:

We are looking to hire an Investment Manager for a Family Office who will work closely with the Head of the Family Office in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities across listed equities. The role will involve fundamental research, portfolio monitoring, and generating high-conviction investment ideas, with mid-cap coverage preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed fundamental research and analysis on listed companies.
• Develop financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment theses.
• Generate investment ideas, with a preference for mid-cap company coverage.
• Track and monitor portfolio companies and provide periodic performance updates.
• Prepare investment notes, research reports, and presentations for internal discussions.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends, sector developments, and market movements impacting portfolio companies.
• Support portfolio construction and investment decision-making aligned with the long-only equity strategy.

Candidate Profile:

• 810 years of experience in equity research or buy-side investing.
• Strong experience covering Indian listed equities, with mid-cap coverage preferred.
• Exposure to international markets will be an added advantage.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently generate investment ideas and articulate clear investment theses.
• Prior experience with Family Offices, PMS, AIFs, or Investment Firms will be preferred.
