Job Description

Sikich is seeking an Analyst - Investment Banking to support and participate in the full range of M&A advisory, restructuring, and financing transactions for corporate and private equity clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry and company research and analysis including creation of buyers lists, transaction comparables data, get smart industry materials, and target contact information (email, phone)
  • Assist in drafting investment memoranda industry overview sections and buy-side target presentations
  • Identify acquisition, divestiture and capital-raising targets for corporate and private equity clients based on criteria provided by banking team members
  • Prepare presentation and pitch materials
  • Support due diligence investigations of target and client companies
  • Update CRM tools for active engagements with information on NDA status, CIM, prospect/buyer feedback, etc. Updates may also be driven by marketing outreach
  • Demonstrate commitment to providing high quality and high value materials and insights
  • Perform other tasks as requested by senior team members.


Requirements for Successful Candidate

  • MBA or equivalent degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Prior work history within investment banking, Transaction Advisory Services (CPA) or strategic consulting industries, preferred
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and strong written, oral and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and manage multiple ongoing client engagements
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative valuation and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CoPilot)
