What were looking for

We're looking for a Financial Modeling Specialist to be our "Benevolent Dictator" on quality standards the final authority on what makes a financial model correct.

You'll work directly in the founders office to teach our AI what "good" modelling looks like and ensure we're shipping models you'd trust in a client presentation.

This is perfect for ex-IB/PE/CFA professionals looking to transition into Product while leveraging their domain expertise. This is a full time in office role in Bangalore

Responsibilities

• Be the quality bar : You decide what "correct" means. Rigorously test and evaluate the models financial outputs for correctness, edge cases, and domain consistency.
• Build the grading system : Create the tests that tell us if our AI is improving or regressing at financial modeling
• Turn gut feel into rules : Help us codify "good financial modeling" so we can turn it into heuristics, rules, or guardrails for model behavior.
• Guide what we fix first : Rank our failures from "this would fail an audit" to "this is just preference"
• Shape the product : : Recommend where to invest development effort (e.g. sector specialization, comparables, forecasting logic) based on user needs.

Must-haves

• Professional financial modeling experience in IB, PE, VC, consulting, or corporate FP&A
• Min 2-5 years of experience in Finance
• Deep Excel/Google Sheets expertise formula construction, model architecture, best practices
• CFA level 2 or higher preferred
• Ability to articulate why methodology matters, not just what the answer is
• Interest in AI product development and how evaluation systems work
• High ownership and bias for action you dont wait to be told what to do.
• Curiosity and hustle you love figuring things out fast and wearing multiple hats.
• Can work in Bangalore, in-office, full-time with the team.
