Investment Analyst

Position Name - Investment Analyst

Location - Mumbai

Experience Range - 2-3 yrs

Mandatory Requirement:

• Conducts detailed financial/credit diligence and builds scenario-based models for new and existing investments, while actively supporting ongoing portfolio monitoring and analytical reviews.
• Experience in to work on Python, SQL, R and other similar softwares.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct deal-specific diligence, including financial and credit analysis on new and existing investments. Build detailed models to evaluate investment performance across a range of scenarios.

• Support the monitoring of existing investments with periodic analytical reviews and direct portfolio company engagement.

• Synthesize findings, develop analytical perspectives with limited information, create detailed investment memos, and make recommendations to the team.

• Support the team in investment structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.

• Assist in building new investment theses by analyzing and assessing new markets and fintech verticals and closely monitor the competitive and regulatory landscapes across fintech sectors.

• Work closely with the teams in New York, Latin America, Asia and Europe to facilitate investor reporting, audits, risk reporting and technology coordination.

Qualification and Experience:

• Professional experience or exposure to financial analytics and data science projects, ablility to deal with large data sets

• Ability to work on Python, SQL, R and other similar softwares

• past experience or exposure to structured finance or asset backed securities or credit analysis of corporates

• Exposure to international or multi country set up is a plus

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and expertise in building and assessing financial models.
