Job Summary

The Inventory Planning Lead will own end-to-end inventory planning and control across categories and channels. This role will focus on demand forecasting, stock optimization, replenishment planning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high availability with minimal excess or aging inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory planning strategies aligned with sales forecasts and business goals
• Own demand forecasting in collaboration with sales, marketing, category, and merchandising teams
• Plan replenishment cycles for warehouses, stores, and online channels
• Monitor inventory health including stock cover, ageing, slow-moving and non-moving inventory
• Drive optimal inventory turns while maintaining service level targets
• Manage SKU-level planning for new launches, seasonal collections, and promotions
• Work closely with sourcing, first-mile, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock availability
• Track and analyze inventory KPIs such as fill rate, stock-outs, excess inventory, and forecast accuracy
• Lead inventory liquidation or corrective action plans for ageing stock
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP systems and planning tools
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives in inventory planning

Eligibility & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 48 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain roles
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, fashion, lifestyle, or jewelry industry preferred
• Strong understanding of forecasting models, replenishment logic, and inventory control
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
