Inventory manager

Job Description: Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure all stock transactions are updated in the system.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits (cycle counts and physical inventory).
• Monitor inbound and outbound stock movement and ensure proper documentation.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock variances, and shortages.
• Implement and improve inventory control procedures and SOPs for efficient warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for stock replenishment and forecasting.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and inventory flow.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and expired stock and take necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Train and supervise inventory staff in stock management processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 47 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
