Role Description

This is an internship role for a Sustainability & ESG Trainee, located on-site in Chennai. The trainee will assist in sustainability reporting, perform ESG data analysis, and collaborate in crafting stories backed by data. Daily tasks may include conducting research, supporting strategic ESG initiatives, drafting sustainability content, and learning about frameworks and standards related to sustainability reporting. The role offers exposure to impactful environmental and social governance projects and active learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of sustainability concepts, corporate social responsibility, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks
• Strong research, data analysis, and reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in writing, editing, and storytelling
• Familiarity with sustainability standards and frameworks such as GHG Protocol, SBTi, SDG, GRI, CDP, etc., is advantageous
• Proficiency in Excel or data visualization software is a plus
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time-management skills

Note: Interested Freshers with proven track record only shall apply. Option to convert to full-time available

Stipend: Starts from Rs 10,000/-

Stipend Duration: 6 months - 12 months
