Internship Founders Office (Drone & Robotics Technology)

Stipend: 12,000 per month


About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Founders Office on drone and emerging robotics technologies in agriculture. You will be involved in real-world deployments, system optimization, and strategic initiatives that combine hardware, software, and field operations.

This is a hands-on, execution-driven internship designed for candidates interested in applied robotics, UAV systems, and Agritech innovation.


Key Responsibilities


Drone & Robotics Operations
  • Assist in planning and execution of drone deployments in field conditions
  • Support setup, testing, and troubleshooting of drone systems
  • Observe and document performance, efficiency, and operational challenges
Technology & Systems Exposure
  • Understand components such as flight controllers, batteries, ESCs, and payload systems
  • Assist in calibration, configuration, and basic system checks
  • Support integration of drone operations with digital platforms
Data & Performance Analysis
  • Analyze operational data (flight logs, acreage, efficiency metrics)
  • Identify areas for optimization in workflows and deployment
  • Maintain simple trackers and reports
Founders Office Support
  • Work closely with founders on high-priority technology initiatives
  • Conduct research on drone/robotics trends and solutions
  • Prepare structured insights, reports, and documentation
Field Exposure
  • Visit farms to understand real-world Agritech deployments
  • Interact with field teams and farmers to gather insights
  • Observe crop-specific use cases for drone spraying and monitoring

Eligibility
  • Students or recent graduates in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related fields)
  • Strong interest in drones, robotics, and applied technology
  • Willingness to travel and work in field environments
  • Basic understanding of electronics or programming is a plus
  • Kannada communication skills preferred (plus)
