Internet of Things Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IoT Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The ideal candidate will work across embedded devices, cloud platforms, and data pipelines to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable IoT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end IoT solutions (device, gateway, cloud, and application layers)
• Develop and maintain firmware for IoT devices using Embedded C/C++ or Python
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules with microcontrollers
• Implement and manage IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, WebSockets)
• Connect devices to cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT)
• Build and manage device provisioning, OTA updates, and remote monitoring
• Ensure data security , device authentication, and encryption
• Monitor device performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability
• Collaborate with hardware, backend, and frontend teams
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Systems and IoT architecture
• Proficiency in C / C++ / Python
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
• Experience with wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT)
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, REST APIs)
• Familiarity with cloud services and IoT platforms
• Experience with Linux and version control tools (Git)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Edge Computing
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
• Exposure to AI/ML integration in IoT
• Understanding of industrial IoT (IIoT) standards
• Experience with mobile or web dashboards for IoT data
