The Opportunity
We're looking for a compassionate, organized, and globally-minded International Patient Case Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of what we do serving as the primary point of contact for international patients navigating their healthcare journey abroad, while building strong, collaborative relationships with the hospitals and clinics delivering their care.
This isn't just a coordination role. You'll be a trusted guide, an advocate, and a problem-solver for patients who are making one of the most important decisions of their lives.
What You'll Do
Patient-Facing Responsibilities
- Manage the complete end-to-end journey of international patients from initial inquiry through post-treatment follow-up
- Serve as the patient's dedicated point of contact, providing timely, empathetic communication at every stage
- Help patients understand treatment options, medical reports, costs, and logistics
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, visas, and on-ground support as needed
- Proactively anticipate patient needs and resolve issues before they escalate
- Provide emotional support and reassurance throughout what can be a stressful process
Clinical Partner Responsibilities
- Build and maintain close working relationships with partner hospitals, clinics, and medical teams
- Liaise between medical providers and patients to ensure seamless information flow
- Coordinate medical records, treatment plans, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care
- Monitor treatment timelines and ensure all parties are aligned on expectations
- Contribute to quality assessments of partner facilities and flag concerns proactively
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
- 2+ years of experience in international patient coordination, healthcare case management, medical tourism, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a strong plus)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for patient advocacy
- Comfort working across time zones and with diverse cultures
Nice-to-Have
- Clinical or nursing background
- Experience working with hospitals or healthcare systems in multiple countries
- Familiarity with medical terminology and treatment pathways
- Proficiency in a CRM or case management platform
