Role Description
We are hiring a full-time International Coordinator - Fabric & Garment Shipments for an on-site position in Mumbai. In this role, you will manage end-to-end international shipment processes, including coordination with suppliers and logistics partners. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment of fabrics and garments, resolving logistical challenges, managing shipping documentation, and maintaining compliance with international trade regulations. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and internal teams to monitor progress, address queries, and ensure seamless execution of shipments.
Graduate in any discipline.
3 5 years of experiencein ExportImport coordination, or International customer service infabric / garment shipments.
Experience withtextile or apparel cargois preferred.
Excellentwritten and verbal English communication.
Ability to communicate professionally with: Overseas shippers / Indian consignees / Buying houses and agents.
Experience in draftinginternational emails, shipment updates, and confirmations.
Basic understanding offabric & garment logistics, including: Export / Import documentation / Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.) / Sea & air shipment processes.
Familiarity with Commercial Invoice / Packing List / Bill of Lading / Airway Bill.
Awareness ofHS codes for textiles and garments(added advantage).
Strong follow-up skills with overseas partners and local consignees.
Ability to track shipments and providetimely status updates.
Coordination with internal operations, CHA, and freight forwarders.
Ability to handle time zone differences and deadlines.
Customer-focused and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
- Logistics and supply chain management skills, including the ability to coordinate and manage international shipments effectively
- Proficiency in managing shipping documentation, ensuring accurate records and compliance with international trade regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and clients internationally
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipment-related issues promptly
- Organization skills to ensure timely delivery and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with fabric and garment industry specifics is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, international business, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in common software tools and platforms for logistics and documentation
