Job Overview


We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented for International Business Development to drive international sales across global regions. The role involves identifying new markets, expanding distributor networks, managing export documentation, coordinating with supply chain & plant operations, and ensuring timely fulfilment of international customer requirements.

The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG/Food exports, international market development, distributor management, and cross-border trade operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new international markets for Organic Food product portfolio.
  • Manage and expand distributor/importer networks across regions such as Middle East, Europe, APAC, Africa, Canada, Australia, Singapore etc.
  • Support product registration, labeling compliance and Organic certifications required for international markets.
  • Develop export sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Coordinate with supply chain planning and plant operations teams to ensure production alignment with export demand.
  • Handle pricing structures, INCOTERMS, and compliance requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with international buyers and distributors.
  • Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and monitor export receivables.
  • Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B meetings.
  • Work closely with marketing teams for international branding and promotional activities.
  • Maintain MIS reports on export performance, sales forecasts, and pipeline tracking.


Education

MBA/PGDM in International Business or Marketing or Sales


Experience

  • 5 years of experience in International Business Development in FMCG or Food Processing industry.
  • Experience handling multi-SKU product portfolio across multiple international markets.
  • Strong understanding of export procedures, Knowledge of documentation, customs regulations.
  • Experience in distributor management and channel development.
  • Knowledge of international pricing, foreign exchange, and trade finance.

  • Target Orientation, Planning, Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyse international market data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong coordination skills with supply chain, production, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Language proficiency: English mandatory; additional foreign language knowledge is an advantage.
