We are now hiring an International Business Development Executive to drive B2B expansion across regulated and industrial markets.
Role OverviewThe International Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting global B2B opportunities across:
- Specialty chemicals
- Pharmaceutical intermediates
- Industrial packaging
- Technical materials
- Sustainable building materials
- Trade-financed equipment supply
This role requires commercial intelligence, international communication maturity, and structured sales execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Identify EU, US, and Middle East-based distributors and industrial buyers
- Build structured prospect lists using LinkedIn, trade directories, and industry databases
- Qualify prospects based on product relevance, import behavior, and commercial viability
- Develop account segmentation strategies by geography and product vertical
- Initiate B2B outreach through email and LinkedIn
- Conduct discovery calls with overseas buyers
- Understand technical requirements and compliance constraints
- Coordinate RFQs with sourcing and operations teams
- Prepare commercial proposals and pricing structures
- Understand Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP)
- Structure pricing models considering freight, duties, margins
- Negotiate payment terms (LC, TT, credit windows)
- Align margin expectations with risk exposure
- Support trade-finance backed deal structuring where applicable
- Maintain CRM hygiene (Zoho or equivalent)
- Track pipeline conversion rates
- Monitor response rates and follow-up cadence
- Report weekly on deal status and revenue potential
- Conduct competitor benchmarking
- Evaluate regulatory requirements for new markets
- Identify local distributor partners
- Support structured market entry plans
- Bachelors degree (Commerce, Business, Engineering preferred)
- MBA (International Business / Marketing) preferred but not mandatory
- 15 years in B2B sales, international trade, export marketing, or industrial sales
- Exposure to chemicals, pharma, industrial materials, or packaging preferred
- Experience handling international clients is highly desirable
- Understanding of cross-border trade mechanics
- Familiarity with Incoterms
- Basic knowledge of LC, TT, payment terms
- Ability to understand margin structuring
- Structured prospecting ability
- High follow-up discipline
- Strong negotiation capability
- CRM proficiency
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate professionally with EU & US clients
- Confidence in video calls
- Ability to understand cost stack & pricing structure
- Risk-awareness in payment terms

- Experience with pharmaceutical documentation
- Exposure to specialty chemicals or industrial raw materials
