Internal Medicine with DM Endocrinology - Doha, Qatar

We are hiring an Internal Medicine Doctor with Endocrinology specialization for our client in Doha, Qatar. The doctor will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, while also providing comprehensive internal medicine care. The role involves outpatient and inpatient services, multidisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to Qatar healthcare regulations and standards.

Clinical Duties

• Diagnose, treat, and manage endocrine disorders including:
• Diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, gestational)
• Thyroid disorders
• Adrenal and pituitary diseases
• Osteoporosis and calcium disorders
• Metabolic and hormonal imbalances
• Provide general internal medicine care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and follow-up plans
• Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and specialized endocrine tests
• Perform and supervise endocrine-related procedures as required

Patient Care & Safety

• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with international best practices
• Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic medical records
• Participate in on-call rotations as per hospital policy

Collaboration & Administration

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, dietitians, and other specialists
• Refer patients to subspecialists when clinically indicated
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Comply with Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations and facility policies

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine
• Fellowship or specialization in Endocrinology

Licensing

• Prometric Pass and Data Flow Verification
• Eligible for or holding a valid Qatar MoPH medical license
• Board certification or equivalent (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 35 years of post-specialization experience in endocrinology
• Experience working in a hospital or specialized clinic setting
• Prior GCC or international experience is an advantage
